Welcome to our school, a Secondary Pupil Referral Unit at the heart of Cannock, where inclusion and belonging shape every aspect of our work. Cannock is a vibrant and diverse community of around 63,000 residents, and we are proud to serve young people and families from across the district. Many of our pupils arrive having faced significant challenges in mainstream education, and our mission is to ensure that every child is valued, supported and empowered to succeed. With approximately 23% of pupils in Cannock eligible for free school meals—a figure higher than much of Staffordshire—our commitment to equitable access and tailored support has never been more important.
We set consistently high expectations for every learner, believing deeply that all young people can achieve when barriers are removed, teaching is responsive, and relationships are strong. Cannock’s schools are predominantly rated Good by Ofsted, reflecting a local culture of ambition and improvement, and our PRU extends this ethos through high‑quality teaching for all, a carefully adapted curriculum and a relentless focus on personal growth. Our team works closely with families, local agencies and Staffordshire County Council PRU partners to ensure each pupil receives the structure, aspiration and support needed to re‑engage with learning and make purposeful progress.
