Computing/ICT

Our ICT curriculum aims to empower pupils to be active producers of technology rather than passive consumers.

  • Digital Literacy is using technology in a functional and safe way and consists of the basic skills that we all need to be able to participate fully in the digital world which includes using and communicating with technology in a safe and appropriate way.

We provide Aim Award qualifications that support the pupil’s learning.  We currently offer a range of Digital Literacy courses in Presentation Skills, Desktop Publishing, Spreadsheet Software and Internet Security which offer a set of skills for pupils to use in the future.   However, we are hoping to develop this further with qualifications in the creative media and computer science.
